"You have played,
(I think)
And broke the toys you were fondest of,
And are a little tired now;
Tired of things that break, and—
Just tired.
So am I.”

mandyyyy O//// i think the sunstone was needed only for the mother yeast to evolve and subsequent yeast growth was strictly by human to human transmission i dunno

thanks for the concern tho i hope ur quality/quantity of sleep hasn’t been as questionable as mine

"I know now, after fifty years, that the finding/losing, forgetting/remembering, leaving/returning, never stops. The whole of life is about another chance, and while we are alive, till the very end, there is always another chance."

weird dreams are made of yeast

recently my sleeping habits have been exceptionally out of whack (think unconventional sleeping times, durations, environments and… surfaces) which has somehow translated into really, really odd dreams with a degree of bizarreness/ occult-ness that will probably make the likes of murakami and anton lavey cry blood in shame. going to bed has actually become a very exciting prospect because it feels like i’m entering some virtual reality world created by a schizophrenic psychotic psychopath but most of the time i wake up more tired than ever :(

i title my most recent one The Great Yeast Infection a.k.a. never will i study micro b before sleeping again

i dreamt that i was the sole survivor of this yeast apocalypse and all of mankind had been turned into huge spiky magenta blobs of yeast. and then out of nowhere i whipped out a POKEDEX and it told me that the yeast was the evolved form (it also told me, very cheerfully, that ‘you need a sun stone for that!’) of this bacteria pokemon and that it was indestructible because of VIRULENCE FACTORS (?!) i.e. the purple processes that could extend out and suck out banana milkshake flavoured LYMPH out of your body

it was a very horrifying sight and i wanted to run but my legs were stuck to the ground and i realised that it was because i was turning into this tembusu tree pokemon thing. and when i finally managed to unstick my legs from the ground i leapt straight into one of the magenta balls and somehow seconds after i got engulfed i was like… ‘mum?? dad?? is that you?????’ and then i woke up
